Fees
Use FeesA location fee is charged for filming on streets (includes alleys, sidewalks or other public rights of way) when these are temporarily removed from public use and for the use of City-controlled property.

Please note: There will be a 10% Administration Fee charged for ALL film permits issued.
Accounts
For the convenience of applicants, an account will be established with The City to cover the best estimate of the fees and service charges. All deposits/payments shall be made payable to The City of Calgary and sent/delivered to the Calgary Film Commissioner. As filming proceeds the Film Permit Coordinator will furnish the production company with a statement of transactions within the account. The company will be notified when the account balance becomes insufficient to cover any additional charges and an additional deposit must be made for the City to continue providing services. The City will refund any unused funds when filming is completed.
