Virtual Strategic Centre of Manufacturing Survey
Canadian manufacturers know that in the next ten to fifteen years their future competitiveness and growth opportunities will depend on the differentiators of time, customer solutions, product differentiation, a culture of innovation, global sourcing, global marketing, continuous improvements and close collaboration through cross-functional teams.
The Canadian Manufacturing and Exporters, Alberta Economic Development, Edmonton Economic Development Corporation, and Calgary Economic Development want to know the thinking of Alberta's manufacturers, educators and leaders towards the gathering of the most advanced knowledge and best practices in Virtual Strategic Centre of Manufacturing.
The Virtual Centre would be seen as an assembly of resources that would result in a critical mass of information and services, but not bricks and mortar. It would help the Alberta manufacturing industry evelove into a more productive, more responsive and more competitive global player, able to fully utilize all resources available.
