C-Prosperity Action and Flagship Initiatives
Two of the key factors to establish a regional cluster engagement strategy are creating and implementing cluster action initiatives and regional flagship initiatives.
Throughout the Calgary region, industry teams of stakeholders have been working on the C-Prosperity action and flagship initiatives to improve the formation, expansion and attraction of business to the Calgary region. The action and flagship initiatives were created by cluster working groups that identified, prioritized and tackled key business issues in their cluster.

- Establish a global centre for excellence in tourism, arts, and entertainment education, training and research
Transportation, Warehousing and Logistics Cluster

Wellness Cluster
Wireless/ Telecommunications Cluster
- Establish management acceleration program

- Develop practical marketing strategy for the wireless and telecom cluster
Flagship Initiatives
Flagship initiatives are defined as public sector, private sector or partnership actions that will positively impact the competitiveness of a broad component of the economy. Flagship initiatives are considered "cross-cutting" initiatives as they address critical challenges and opportunities common to a number of clusters.
These flagship initiatives represent collaboration between the clusters and they emerged from the collaborative strategy component of the C·Prosperity process.
