CALGARIANS AWARDED FOR EXCELLENCE IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ACTIVITIES.
2001 Export Achievement Awards and 2002 International
Business Award Winners to be Announced

What: Awards celebrating excellence in international business activities
will be presented at the International Business and Export Awards Dinner.
Calgary Inc. will recognize recipients of the 2001 Export Achievement
Awards and the Faculty of Management at the University of Calgary will
present the winners of the International Business Awards. The award ceremony
and dinner is a collaborative partnership between the Faculty of Management
and Calgary Inc.
Why: Since 1993,
the Export Achievement Awards have been presented to Calgary exporters
who have achieved significant success in marketing their products, services
and technologies internationally. Winning the award means local recognition
for a job well done, providing instant credibility among colleagues at
home and abroad, and the chance to network with other successful exporters
and Calgary's top business leaders. International Business Awards have
been presented to Calgarians since 1983, and recognize those persons or
organizations that have increased internationalization through outstanding
contributions to the community or to higher education.
