Calgary is a fun place to visit. Whether you are interested in taking in Calgary's thriving arts and music scene, or its unbelievable range of outdoor recreational activities--Calgary truly is a great playground for both young and old alike.

Within the city, outdoor enthusiasts can explore over 300 kilometers of paved walking and cycling paths that wind through nearly 3300 hectares of natural areas and parkland. Or for a more serene experience, a visit to the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary can be quite therapeutic.

Although there are many things to do and see while in Calgary, some of the premiere facilities within Calgary include: the Glenbow Museum, the Arts Centre, the Calgary Science Centre, Canada Olympic Park, Heritage Park, Fort Calgary and the Calgary Zoo Botanical Gardens and Prehistoric Park.

Less than an hour's drive away, one can view the majestic splendor of the Canadian Rockies. They truly are spectacular. Take some time to hike, ski, golf, mountain bike or soak in a mineral hot springs…the range of recreational opportunities are limited only by your imagination.
